Welcome, my name is Quinn Damerell and I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Purdue University. I currently know Java, C, C++, HTML, CSS, and PHP. I thoroughly enjoy coding and have created a few projects of my own, which can be found here; along with my projects for school that can be found here. This summer I was fortunate to get a Software Engineering job at Raytheon in Fort Wayne Indiana. Though it has just begun, I am really enjoying the work and the people. It is also very beneficial to get a real look at the industry, and I feel it will help me immensely in my school work and future jobs, maybe at Raytheon :).

Beyond my school work I enjoy gaming on my computer and doing theater tech. My current list of top games includes Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4 MW2, Portal, Plants vs. Zombies, and Left 4 Dead 2. I also play a verity of other arcade games through steam.

My entire life I have had a passion for theater technology. I was the soundboard technician for my first play, Snow White, when I was in the fifth grade. From there on out I have pursued my joy in the theater. I have done countless plays for the Children’s Theater in Fort Wayne, and through high school was the head theater technician for all the plays and musicals. I am now still currently involved with the Miss Indiana Pageant where I am a Technical Director, overseeing and managing the entire lighting details of the production, along with other backstage aspects of the production. Locally I also help with our Miss Noble County and Miss Limberlost Pageant.
